FT BARISTA

FT HEAD Barista / SUpervisor
About Us:
* Iconic independent specialty coffee shop, inspired by antipodean third wave coffee culture, japanese/scandinavian minimalism, and east end hospitality.
About You:
* Have at least 3 years of experience in specialty coffee.
* Have at least 1 year of experience as a Senior or Head barista.
* Be confident in dialling in espresso.
* Be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of extraction theory, sensory principles, and milk preparation.
* Have excellent communication skills, with confidence and passion.
* Have a good working knowledge of equipment and maintenance.
* Have experience training new starters or providing ongoing training.
* Have experience of running a shop in the absence of the assistant/manager.
* Have experience handling food.
* Have the ability to drive sales in a fast pace and high-pressure environment.
* Have stock management experience.
* Have experience opening and closing shop, cash up & end of day reporting.
